Massages are one of the most popular services offered at day spas. All day spas do offer massages, but what they have to offer may vary. In addition to traditional massages, there are other variations. One that is quite popular is that of a hot stone massage. A hot stone massage, which is a Swedish massage, involves the use of hot stones that are applied to specific areas of the body, most often the stomach and back. Aromatherapy massages are also quite popular. They involve the use of scented towels, which are applied to the neck and face.

Body wraps are another popular service offered by most day spas. As with massages, you will likely find a number of different body wrap options. One of the most popular is that of an herbal body wraps. Herbal body wraps involve the use of warm, scented towels that are tightly wrapped around the body. Before an herbal wrap, your body may be thoroughly cleaned and exfoliated. Mud warps are also popular. No matter what the variation, body wraps are designed to detoxify and purify the body.

3 – Body Scrubs

Body scrubs are an ideal way to clean the skin and leave it looking youthful again. Body scrubs involve the use of sea salts, which are used to exfoliate the body. A strong exfoliation will help to remove the top dead layer of your skin. Full body scrubs are offered by many day spas; however, you should also have the option to target a specific area, such as your arms.

Although not all day spas offer water treatments, they are increasing in popularity. This means that you should have more water treatments available to you soon locally, if you don’t already. As for what you can expect, a popular option is relaxing in a bathtub. Although this sounds like something that you can do at home, much more is involved. For starters, the environment is calm, comforting, and relaxing. You may have the option of listening to soothing music or lighting a few candles. As for what can be added to your bathwater, you may be able to choose from aromatic seaweed, anti-stress salts, aroma oil, and moor mud.

5 – Foot Treatments

Foot treatments, as with many other spa procedures, come in a number of different formats. If you are limited on time, a simple pedicure and foot massage may be enough. If you want the full treatment, you should be able to have your feet exfoliated, soaked in warm soapy water, and massaged.
